It is that time of year again. We will don green apparel and lift heavy. Oh, and indulge in some food and drink.
St. Patrick’s Day falls on a Tuesday, so we will be celebrating early.
All Clippers are welcome to test their strength and afterward celebrate in traditional St. Patrick’s day fashion. Or you’re welcome to do just one or the other. Feel free to bring any food or beverages you would like to share.

10:00am: Movement review/Warm-up
10:30am: Break up into smaller groups, grab barbells and start lifting.
11:30 am: Add up top weights for each lift.
11:35 am: Start the potluck festivites

Back Squat
Shoulder Press
Attempt each lift 3 times. The weight must increase after each successful attempt at each movement. The weight may not be decreased after the first attempt. A failed rep counts as an attempt. Take the Back Squat and Shoulder Press (aka: Strict Press) from the weight rack.

There is no time limit for each lift or for the length of the session in which they are all performed, but they must all be performed during one session (i.e., athlete cannot leave the area to rest or perform other activities between the three lifts).

Score is the sum of the best of all three lifts.
